Engstrom Guitars

The Gibson NR Special was built 20 years ago by my father-in-law, Daniel Roberts and Ren Ferguson(Gibson Guitar Custom Luthier). It has Maple back and Sides, with a 40 year old spruce top. The guitar was built, but never set up until a year ago when I purchased it, and inlayed Cherry Blossoms in the headstock and fingerboard, as well as Chinese figures in the bridge. The inlays were cut by Larry obinson. This guitar sounds as amazing as it looks! We are selling this guitar with the original Gibson case.

  The Motorcycle Guitar boasts all handmade metal parts, that have been chrome plated. The body is mahogany and sprayed with a greenish blue color and finished with flat nitro. The guitar has an ebony fingerboard inlayed with ablam. This guitar comes with a custom made Ameritage case with humidity control. This is a unique peice of art.

 The new Engstrom Telecaster has an alder body and Swedish maple neck all made from scratch in my shop. The neck has a 10" radius and jumbo frets. Its a player! This guitar has Demarzio Twang King pickups. Comes with a Fender tweed case.

Josh is a great guitar player and friend of mine that plays in a local country western band (Ten Foot Tall and 80 Proof). Josh has set the bar for guitar players around Bozeman, MT. Last spring I had the pleasure of building him a custom Engstrom telecaster!

I am so happy to say that I finished my own PERSONAL guitar, and I love it!  I sold my Santa Cruz Guitar a few months ago to buy the wood for the only guitar I have ever built for myself.  My dream guitar!  I bought some gorgeous brazilan from my father-in-law Dan Roberts, and got started.
